Chapters 21 – 30

Chapter 21 – Picture 01

Pic 01 shows the picture printed in a local edition newspaper for the show jumping tournament Rotaract created as a means for raising money for local charities.

The tournament involved Roteract’s interaction with Rockingham House Farm where I had first learned to ride and then show jump.

Chapter 23 – Picture 01

If you look closely you will see the scars at the top of my right arm which I acquired on the afternoon of Friday, the 13th of March 1981.  I have a similar set of scars at the top of my left arm, down the middle of my back and a much smaller scar at the top of my thumb on my right hand.

Chapter 27 – Picture 01, 02, 03, 04 and 05

Pic 01 shows the field I purchased from British Rail in what must have been the oddest purchasing agreement ever.

I took this picture for the highest point I could reach to try and get as much of the field in the picture as possible.  If you look closely you can see Donna near the centre of the picture.  To the left of the picture are some of the show jumps I designed and then had built.  To the far right of the picture is the stack from my first crop of hay and on the far side of the picture is my first Field Shelter in the early stages of construction.

Seen here is the three feet long alien bomber I created, and then destroyed in such spectacular fashion with the help of my Mum.
